Happy Trails Tours
Happy Trails Tours, Inc. (HTT) is so much more than a travel company. Even though it started as a regional motor coach vacation business, it has experienced tremendous growth as its reputation has spread beyond its original boundaries. The customer database has expanded to include the entire state of Minnesota, the surrounding states, and even Canada. Located in Forbes, a ... More small rural community in the heart of Minnesota Iron Range, you can find a buzzing office that now Picture accommodates Diane Olds, the owner, and four employees dedicated to providing amazing experiences within the continental United States and beyond. You only need to travel with Happy Trails once to become a member of its ever-increasing family. The company has come a long way since the humble little home office, located in the residence of Marge Ellis and her husband Grant. In 1983, the current phone number for Happy Trails Tours was the personal home phone number of the Ellis’. All conference and business meetings took place around the kitchen table and no official business hours existed. If one called looking for a tour, the phone would be answered by whoever was closest. Even Marge’s husband Grant would take his turn. Despite its modest beginnings, HTT has become a success and it all started because eleven wonderful local ladies wanted to sing in Nashville. And there is more to that story.
