Dixie's is founded and owned by Dixie L Ellis, a woman who was born and raised in the surrounding areas of Antelope Canyon. Dixie's mother's passion for the Navajo culture was passed on to her, and her tour company is a reflection of that same passion. Our tours were about more than food: We also pointed out historical & cultural landmarks. In 1987, Prentice-Hall published The Food Lover’s Guide to the Real New York, written by me & Hungry Pedalers co-leader Mark Clifford.
