The organization was founded in 1976 by architectural enthusiast Polly Flansburgh to promote public awareness and appreciation for Boston’s rich history and architectural heritage. More ver in partnership with the Boston Society of Architects and the Charles Riverboat Company. These tours are created and conducted by 200+ volunteer guides who love Boston and are passionate about its history. They are well-trained and enthusiastic individuals who represent diverse backgrounds.
