Canyon Calling Adventures for Women
The idea for taking women on adventure trips was conceived on a jeep in Sedona, Arizona, in 1996. Guiding tours over the red rocks, occasionally, the group was all women. The women, strangers to each other just two hours previously, bonded easily and often had lunch together afterward. Co-ed groups politely listened to information about Native Americans, but the all-women groups showed a keen interest, asked questions, and understood the native connection to the land. We realized something extraordinary happens when women travel together, and we made this a more permanent option, thus founding Canyon Calling Adventures for Women.

Under30Experiences was founded in 2012 to make travel more accessible to young people. Why? Dissatisfied with the status quo, the two set out on an adventure of a lifetime. Traveling across the globe, the two became obsessed with getting to know locals and finding off-the-beaten-path experiences you could not find as a tourist. The two began bringing small groups of people ages 21-35 on trips to Iceland, Costa Rica, Peru, and Bali, as Under30Experiences became a real company. With the help of their local friends, a great network of boutique hotels, and the desire to positively impact local communities rather than see them on a superficial level, Under30Experiences has grown to what Inc. 5000 named one of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The organization was founded in 1976 by architectural enthusiast Polly Flansburgh to promote public awareness and appreciation for Boston’s rich history and architectural heritage. In addition to our trademark walking tours, we also offer an Architecture Cruise along Boston Harbor and the Charles Ri ... These tours are created and conducted by 200+ volunteer guides who love Boston and are passionate about its history. They are well-trained and enthusiastic individuals who represent diverse backgrounds.
