SHIFT CULTURE amplifies the voices of communities most impacted by traffic collisions and dangerous street design and collaborates with community members to reclaim public space for people. CREATE CHANGE by exercising collective power to advocate for immediate safe street changes and securing citizen committee appointments and elected positions to shape policies and public narratives directly. DEVELOP Los Angeles Walks into a representative, strong, stable organization that brings diverse stakeholders into our leadership team, staff and board. Our Mission To activate and mobilize historically disinvested communities in Los Angeles to transform their streets into safe, accessible and vibrant environments for people who walk.
Angels Walk LA
For over 20 years, Angels Walk LA has helped preserve Los Angeles history while encouraging pedestrian engagement and public transportation throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Since 1996, Angels Walk LA has been dedicated to enhancing pedestrian environments throughout Los Angeles by developing self-guided historic walking trails. Our walks highlight our city’s ric ... We are excited to continue our mission with three recently completed walks for East Hollywood/Silver Lake, Boyle Heights, and Central Avenue.
