Both culturally and ecologically unique, we knew somebody had to show off our Triad treasures for both local Visitors and Guests. Thus, Triad ECO Adventures / Triad TROLLEYS began from an entrepreneurial spirit, a bit of luck, and a whole lot of determination from like minded individuals and outstanding community members. With humble beginnings in Winston-Salem, Triad ECO Adventures / Triad TROLLEYS is a locally originated, operated, and owned small business offering sustainable tourism to the awesome Piedmont Triad. We strive toward welcoming Visitors and empowering Locals with sustainable FUN where people grow their appreciation for our blue/green spaces, healthy living, necessary “ME” time, and the prosperity of the Triad’s rich cultural heritage and community.
Original Deadwood Tour
We start with the Ft. Laramie Treaty of 1868. Tell you about Custer's Expedition to the Black Hills, which incidentally started the Gold Rush of 1874. We continue with tales of the infamous Jack McCall and end with present-time history. You will see historical landmarks, points of interest and the Chinese and Badland sections of town. Take our tour, and you will learn about this bigger-than-life character Deadwood is proud to call its own. While in the cemetery, we will point out other characters who contributed to Deadwood's history. Preacher Smith and Madam Dora DuFran are just two you will want to hear about. There is more! Mt. Moriah lookout, a 300-foot cliff, where spectacular pictures are made. Gaze down at Deadwood Gulch while enjoying the breeze and essence of ponderosa pine. We will tell you about the Homestake Gold Mine and other interesting facts on the way back.

Her excellence has led to numerous features in the media, from radio and newspaper to magazines and television, including The History Channel on The States. She is also deeply committed to tourism in Missouri, currently serving as a St. Louis Regional Representative for the Missouri Travel Council, Vice President of the Hill Business Association, and the Past-President of the St. Louis Professional Tour Guide Association. She is a board member of the Washington University in St. Louis Women's Society as well as the St. Louis Actors Studio. A native of Vandalia, Missouri, Dea graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BSBA and a minor in English Literature.
