This two-hour walking tour of the West Side Highway in Washington, United States, will take you through some of the most interesting and vibrant areas of the city.
The tour will begin at the intersection of West Side Highway and M Street NW (38.9044° N, 77.0403° W). Here, you will find a variety of shops and restaurants, including the popular seafood restaurant, Old Ebbitt Grill.
From there, you will head south on West Side Highway, passing by the iconic Watergate Hotel (38.9037° N, 77.0468° W). This is a great spot to take a few photos and admire the views of the Potomac River.
Continuing south, you will come to the Kennedy Center (38.8977° N, 77.0537° W). This is a great place to take a break and explore the many shops and restaurants in the area.
Next, you will head east on Virginia Avenue NW, passing by the historic Lincoln Memorial (38.8893° N, 77.0502° W). This is a great spot to take a few photos and admire the views of the Washington Monument.
Continuing east, you will come to the National Mall (38.8893° N, 77.0369° W). Here, you will find a variety of shops and restaurants, including the popular food truck, DC Empanadas.
From there, you will head north on 17th Street NW, passing by the White House (38.8977° N, 77.0369° W). This is a great spot to take a few photos and admire the views of the Washington Monument.
Continuing north, you will come to the intersection of 17th Street NW and West Side Highway (38.9044° N, 77.0403° W). Here, you will find a variety of shops and restaurants, including the popular seafood restaurant, Old Ebbitt Grill.
At the end of the tour, you will have seen some of the most iconic landmarks in Washington, as well as some of the best shopping and dining locations in the city.
