Exploring the Ancient Wonders of Leshan: A 2-Hour Walking Tour

Our two hour walking tour of Leshan, Sichuan, China will take us through some of the city's most interesting and vibrant areas. We'll start at the Leshan Giant Buddha (Latitude: 29.5650, Longitude: 103.5647), the world's largest stone Buddha, carved into the side of a mountain. We'll take in the breathtaking views of the Buddha and the surrounding landscape before heading to the nearby Lingyun Temple (Latitude: 29.5647, Longitude: 103.5647). Here, we'll explore the temple's many halls and courtyards, and learn about its history and significance.

Next, we'll make our way to the bustling Leshan Old Street (Latitude: 29.5641, Longitude: 103.5641). Here, we'll find a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as traditional Chinese architecture. We'll take a break to explore the area and sample some of the local cuisine.

From there, we'll head to the Leshan Grand Theater (Latitude: 29.5637, Longitude: 103.5637). This modern theater is home to a variety of performances, from traditional Chinese opera to modern dance. We'll take a few minutes to explore the theater and learn about its history.

Our next stop is the Leshan Museum (Latitude: 29.5633, Longitude: 103.5633). Here, we'll explore the museum's many exhibits, which showcase the city's history and culture. We'll also take a few minutes to browse the museum's gift shop.
